Strategy Insights & Planning Manager/Marketing (London, United Kingdom)

Our teams work on multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging advanced data analytics and problem-solving techniques. We seek a Manager to join our Marketing Practice in our London office. Managers leverage their experience to take responsibility for projects and lead client relationships immediately. Managers in this role play a key role in the Marketing practice and will act as a content expert in one or more aspects of Marketing and Customer Insights.


  • Lead client engagements and build long term client relationships;
  • Significant direct client interaction, managing multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Motivate, coach and serve as a role model for project team members;
  • Own responsibility for work product quality and relevance to client decisions;
  • Update and prepare and present recommendations to senior leaders;
  • Pursue and drive key relationships with key decision makers for new business development;
  • Contribute to thought leadership and innovation within client projects, and broader ZS Marketing and/or Customer Insights practice.


  • Ideal candidates will have experience in Marketing and Customer Insights across multiple therapeutic areas within the life sciences industry;
  • Ideal candidates will have led Marketing strategy and customer insights projects across the product lifecycle, from early opportunity assessment for developmental assets, to growth strategies for in-line assets
  • Approximately 6-8+ years of prior management consulting experience, preferably in the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry;
  • MBA or an advanced degree in Marketing, Economics or related fields;
  • Proven leadership experience;
  • Experience in marketing, market research, and marketing strategy;
  • Proven track record of new business development


ZS is a global consulting firm; fluency in English and the local language of the office is required, additional fluency in European or Asian languages is desirable. Candidates must possess work authorization for their intended country of employment.
