Business Associate Consultant/Digital Customer-Centric Marketing (London, United Kingdom)

The Digital Strategy & Execution (DS&E) team is focused on supporting pharmaceutical companies to deliver more value to customers and enhance business performance through digital.  This is achieved by ensuring appropriate data management across multiple sources as a foundation to generate in-depth, 360 customer understanding.  Utilising this data and insight to develop tailored engagement plans that put the customer at the center.  Ensuring a robust measurement and optimization approach that detects changes in customer attitudes and behaviours and generates

insights to inform in-flight campaigns as well as key business decision making.

 

STRATEGY INSIGHTS & PLANNING CONSULTANT – DIGITAL STRATEGY

Strategy Insights & Planning Consultants serve on project teams that deliver high-quality projects to clients. In particular, Consultants possess unstructured problem solving skills as well as strong analytic, synthesis and communication skills. Consultants may work on multiple projects simultaneously.

 

Responsibilities:

Design and deliver projects to support clients in their digital transformation, which will include:

  • Assess digital capabilities against industry best practices and internal benchmarks to identify gaps and opportunities to enhance
  • Work to define digital transformation vision and goals, and develop roadmaps and strategies to achieve these
  • Generate customer understanding by analyzing multiple sources of data and insights (market research, social media, customer engagement data etc.)
  • Translating brand objectives and strategic priorities into tailored customer engagement plans
  • Act as a thought leader, leverage extensive knowledge of content management (MLR content creation, governance and compliance, CMS, DAM and metadata tagging, etc.), channels (consent management, strategic third-party channel partners, internal channel set-up etc.) and technology (CRM, Marketing Automation) to advise clients to drive more impactful outcomes
  • Define KPIs to measure changes in customer knowledge, behaviours and sales impact
  • Leverage performance insights to make recommendations to drive efficiencies, customer engagement and accelerate digital transformation
  • Define change management activities to drive adoption and scale digital capabilities
  • Coach and train teams in the digital space

 

Day-to-day, this consultant will be expected to take part and lead activities such as workshops, meetings, research, stakeholder engagement, analysis and solution design as part of client projects. They will also be responsible for participating in business development activity, writing responses to invitations to tender from clients, preparing materials for client presentations and pitches and taking part in marketing activity

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree welcomed;
  • Passion for digital marketing and technology;
  • At least 4- 5 years’ significant and proven experience in Digital Marketing either in-house or from a consultancy background through the design, planning & delivery of multichannel and / or digital marketing campaigns e.g. Email marketing campaigns including campaign management system(s), eDetailing, web/mobile solutions including content management, modern web / digital design & UX principles and social media
  • Measuring & reporting on campaign analytics & KPIs, with strong analytical skills, with proven track record of driving change through data and facts
  • Project management (knowledge of Agile / Lean / Scrum is a plus)
  • Cross-functional working is highly critical in this role, and therefore good stakeholder management and communication skills are highly recommended
