Omnichannel Practice Lead (Shanghai, China)

The CCM practice at ZS is seeing an increase in client demand for global deployment of CCM capabilities.  Our clients are interested in developing a CCM solution and then scaling that solution globally; to develop & manage this growth we are searching for a skilled leader to serve as an OMNICHANNEL PRACTICE LEAD.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead the effort in building the  ZS Omnichannel  capabilities across AI, marketing tech, operations, analytics / reporting, content, and customer strategy for the China market, leveraging the global solution as a starting point..
  • Develop/enhance ZS's Omnichannel value proposition for the China market, leveraging the global value prop
  • Lead the business development / selling effort
  • Good working knowledge of Omnichannel solutions/offerings, such as:
    1. Work with marketing teams to develop strategic, customer-centric promotion plans / journeys
    2. Develop tactical plans to deploy the journeys
    3. Use of digital technology to execute (strong familiarity with marketing technology, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe, etc.)
    4. AI / decision engines
    5. Customer data platforms and similar solutions
    6. Content development and management
    7. Analytics / reporting
    8. Organization change mgmt. / transformation
  • Build, coach and mentor Omnichannel team, both in China and offshore
  • Lead the effort to continue to refine our Omnichannel strategy on an on-going basis Consistently identify, pursue and close new business opportunities through personal network and through working with ZS client teams
  • Raise ZS's marketplace presence/profile through a range of business development and marketing activities
  • Lead project teams on Omnichannel client engagements
  • Partner with other ZS capability areas to ensure our Omnichannel solution  is integrated with our other service offerings  in China
  • Drive ZS China Omnichannel  thought leadership via whitepapers, industry conference presentations, blog posts and other channels

Education & Additional Skills:

Bachelor's degree required in business or a quantitative field, advanced degree preferred

  • Experienced Omnichannel team leader
  • Produced thought leadership
  • A proven track record of business development.
  • 10+ years of prior relevant work experience, preferably in professional services/consulting
  • High motivation, outstanding work ethic, maturity and personal initiative
  • Aptitude for, and enjoyment of, leading and managing teams
  • Strong oral and written communication skills that enable personal impact with senior-level decision makers
  • Strong attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset
  • Analytic problem solving skills, with a creative and innovative outlook
  • A diversity of experience having worked at life sciences companies of different sizes and different industries
  • MBA degree or advanced degree preferred
