Principal/CCM/Digital (San Francisco area, CA)

The CCM group is a full-service global practice comprised of 500+ practitioners with expertise ranging from Digital strategist, AI and Analytics, Digital technologists and Marketing Operations.

 

PRINCIPAL Digital Commercial Solutions

A Principal – Digital Commercial Excellence is a senior role in the firm and will serve as a Business Leader and Thought Champion in the CCM Practice. This role will have responsibility for developing and managing the US West Coast Business of the CCM Practice in the Life Sciences vertical, develop innovative Digital offerings, develop strategic relationship with our client’s Business and IT Heads (including Head of Digital, Chief Digital Officers), and maintain a portfolio of large-scale Digital transformation programs. The successful candidate will work closely with ZS leadership, expand Digital business in our existing Life Sciences clients, help acquire new clients in the Digital space, and build trusted advisory relationships with executives at the company’s largest pharmaceutical and medical device accounts.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead large scale client business development and delivery engagements in the Life Sciences Industry - Pharmaceutical and/or Medical Devices sector;
  • Design and manage transformation programs and client relationships particularly in the area of Digital, AI Personalization Engines, Marketing Technology and Operations, Content Transformation, and Marketing Data Management & Analytics;
  • Play a lead role in shaping our client’s future state Digital Commercial and Patient Centricity charters and facilitate change in client organizations
  • Lead innovations, new offering development and commercialization of capabilities in the areas of Digital/AI/Marketing Technology
  • Develop and cultivate a focused US West Coast Digital Team focused on Commercial topics
  • Drive and nurture partnerships with Digital platform providers
  • Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business. Effectively lead and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds;
  • Play an active role in counseling and mentoring Managers and Consultants within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s/master’s degree in Computer Science or related field from a top university; MBA or Advanced Degree is highly desirable;
  • 5+ years’ experience in a leadership role within a Management Consulting/Professional services firm;
  • Ideal candidate with offer demonstrated expertise and specialization in Digital Technologies but will be a boundary spanner (between Strategy, Analytics and Technology)
  • 5+ years’ experience in life science industry is preferred;
  • Demonstrated experience with driving revenue within existing clients and in developing new prospects
  • Strong ability to assess a company’s Digital maturity through senior stakeholder interviews, organizational discovery and benchmarks;
  • Strong ability to formulate our client’s Digital strategy, implementation roadmap and operating models;
  • Strong ability to lead transformation programs that spans business strategy, advanced analytics & AI, and Digital Technologies
  • Demonstrated experience and strong credentials in managing large scale change programs leveraging some or all of the following technology pillars:
  • Marketing Cloud & Digital Platforms – e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe
  • Digital Asset Management Platforms: Adobe, Aprimo, Veeva Vault etc.
  • Customer Data Platforms:  Evergage, Tealium etc.
  • Ability to lead a global virtual team of consulting professionals across multiple projects; A strong work ethic;
  • A willingness to travel to meet client needs; Executive-level presence and communication.

 

ZS is a global consulting firm; fluency in English is required, additional fluency in at least one European or Asian language is desirable.
