Business Process Manager (San Francisco area, CA)

The Business Process Transformation group  group empowers our clients’ IS and business organizations with strategy, technology, and analytics solutions to maximize the value generation and transform business processes. The Business Process Transformation group works with clients to design effective technology solutions that support & enhance critical business processes and manage the implementation of those solutions.  



• Work with onshore and offshore teams to develop price estimate, plan capacity, coordinate delivery of the end-to-end technology capability (data warehouse, mastering, reporting, analytics) solution, report project status and act as escalation path for clients

• Serve as the single point of contact and advisor for clients to facilitate their business needs and program demands through solutions and services that are fit for purpose for Emerging Pharma needs

• Drive collection, shaping and prioritization of client demand by working with offshore tandem delivery leads

• Work with offshore tandem delivery leads to establish a sustainable operations and support model for business solutions including data stewardship and product ownership for ongoing enhancements

• Bridge business and technical teams by being fluent in the language of consulting (business drivers, process), design (user-centric experience design), and technology (data warehousing, report creation)

• Drive development of creative and compelling proposals and responses to client requests and solicitations

• Lead program management work-stream and ensure adherence to best practices

• Develop the cross-functional plan and drive execution of the solution as per the plan

• Manage client expectations and executive communications when project risks and issues arise

• Provide direction and best practices for creating project materials including requirements, change management, and business process design

• Coach the cross-functional project team on the business perspective and strategic imperatives to inform key project decisions

• Coach and mentor teams, and conduct & develop training programs to contribute to capability building and knowledge sharing (project management, requirements gathering, business processing modeling


• BS in Computer Sciences or Information Systems (MS and/or MBA is a plus)

• Minimum 8 years of Life Sciences experience across Consulting and Industry

• Expertise with traditional and modern pharmaceutical data sources

• Managed senior client relationships across Commercial Operations and IT

• Experience implementing and operating Commercial data warehouse, mastering, reporting and analytics capabilities

• Proven ability to lead and influence clients and project teams throughout development life cycle phases

• Thorough understanding of the design process, project management principles, client relationship management, and pre-sales activities

• Proven relationship-building and maintaining skills with clients and across functional areas

• Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, planning and leadership skills

• Ability to manage large, cross-functional teams of 10+ people
