Data Partnerships Consultant (Princeton, NJ)

The Data Partnerships Specialist (US) will be a member of an entrepreneurial team charged with the development and cultivation of partnerships with various data providers in the US, primarily centered around healthcare.  Located in one of our East Coast offices, the role will support the discovery, implementation and management of strategic relationships. The Specialist works closely with various practice areas (e.g. Real-World Data, Research and Development, Patient & Consumer Health, Marketing & Insights, etc.) as well as ZS client service teams to ensure that use cases are matched with the optimal data options. They will develop relationships with a network of data providers with traditional or innovative data assets; ensuring that the interests of the providers are represented. This individual will have high visibility within the firm and work collaboratively with the rest of the Data Partnerships group located in the US, EU and India.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert to support teams in client project proposals, client discussions, thought leadership, etc., where data expertise is needed
  • Manage day-to-day activity and communication with Data Partners; serve as key point of contact on all aspects to make partnerships live
  • Under direction from leadership, expand awareness, knowledge and usage of Data Partnerships within the firm; communicate use cases, facilitate training, etc.
  • Develop new tools and processes to enable quick and efficient access to Data Partner assets, collaborating closely with the ZS Real World Data & Insights and technology teams
  • Track utilization of Data Partnerships across the firm and periodically present outcomes to the firm’s leadership
  • Assist in the updating of the data provider landscape, identifying new data providers and initiating contact to understand fit for ZS applications
  • Participate in the design and maintenance of processes that ensure ZS compliance to Data Partnership agreements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree required, with strong academic performance in analytic and quantitative coursework
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant post-collegiate job experience; prior experience working with healthcare data providers preferred
  • Knowledge of healthcare data and its practical applications (e.g. Patient Level Data, Electronic Medical Records, Payer Claims, CMS Data, Registries, Clinical Trials, etc.)
  • Self-starter, with high motivation, maturity and personal initiative
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to interact with and influence senior executives
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
  • Self-discipline for planning and organizing tasks, and delivering in a matrixed environment
  • Empathy, adaptability and high personal impact
