Associate Principal/Quantitative Expertise Center (Princeton, NJ)

We also help our clients transform their sales and marketing strategies and organizations to improve their effectiveness. Our recommendations and solutions are based in rigorous research and analysis underpinned by deep expertise and thought leadership across the demand generation process. The Quantitative Methodologist will be responsible for leading and growing ZS’s Advanced Quantitative Research Methods team, including developing new methodologies, advising on complex methodologies, and continuing to elevate ZS’s quantitative primary research reputation and credibility across the pharmaceutical industry. Internally, this person will train and develop the team in advanced quantitative methods and help scale our capabilities to reliably and efficiently deliver complex quantitative work across the firm. This includes providing a clear point of view to teams about appropriate implementation of quantitative methodologies and their relevance to various business questions

ASSOCIATE PRINCIPAL/QUANTITATIVE METHODOLOGIST

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and developing a team of consultants to sell, design and deliver quantitative market research
  • Elevating ZS’s marketing research offerings to be “best in class” across the industry 
  • Enhancing ZS’s quantitative research reputation and credibility in the pharmaceutical industry and among market research professionals
  • Developing and disseminating points-of-view and best practices on key quantitative market research topics
  • Collaborating across ZS client leads to advance business opportunities in quantitative research

Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree (M.S. or PhD). in Statistics, Economics, marketing or related quantitative discipline 
  • Minimum of 10 years of marketing analytics experience with demonstrated experience in statistical and econometric analysis, applied to healthcare industry
  • Deep knowledge and experience with advanced analytic techniques, such as multivariate regression analysis, predictive modeling, factor analyses, cluster analyses, latent class segmentation, and conjoint analyses / discrete choice modeling; the understanding of advanced analytical research techniques should be at both theoretical and practical level
  • Ability to fully understand and be comfortable in our existing offering (given space and time to learn) 
  • Must  be able to develop and remain abreast with new methodologies and quickly integrate to ZS
  • Ability to lead, grow and motivate research and analytical professionals both onshore and offshore
  • Intellectual curiosity, entrepreneurial drive, structured thinking and problem solving skills
  • Analytically creative with a passion for innovation
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Executive-level presence and communication
  • Prior leadership experience in developing marketing science teams in a consulting organization will be preferred
  •  Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with external clients and internal colleagues across the organization
  • Demonstrated success in business development
