ZS's Business Consulting Group partners with clients to design and deliver solutions to help them tackle a broad range of business challenges. Our teams work on multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging advanced data analytics and problem-solving techniques. ZS' Customer Centric Marketing (CCM) team helps our clients transform their business from being product / tactic-centric to being customer-centric.  Our unique approach leverages our expertise in sales force promotion optimization, marketing analytics and optimization, and marketing campaign planning to deliver a fully integrated customer centric promotion plan that integrates sales and marketing.


We have an opening at the Manager/Associate Principal level to lead our Business Consultng Digital Marketing Operations capability within othe Customer Centric Marketing (CCM) Practice. 




Responsibilities for this position will focus in two main areas: Developing ZS's Marketing Operations capability and client development.  


1.    Developing ZS's CCM – Digital Marketing Operations Capabilities 

  • Marketing Operations expertise (Functional Major)
  • Focus on building up a Marketing Operations capability leveraging digital platforms within a connected digital ecosystem
  • Develop/enhance ZS's Omnichannel / Digital Marketing Operations value proposition and support marketing / selling efforts
  • Critical experience/expertise in Marketing Operations solutions/offerings
    • Work with marketing teams to develop strategic, customer-centric promotion journeys
    • Develop tactical plans to deploy the journeys
    • Use of digital technology to execute (strong familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe, or other marketing technologies)
    • Manage on/off shore teams to deploy the journeys via marketing automation platforms
  • Build, coach and mentor Marketing Operations team     

2.  Client Development

  • Drive sales growth by leading the effort to develop new business in the Life Sciences space
  • Lead the effort to engage our Life Sciences clients in the development of marketing operations strategies
  • Fine tune the Marketing Operations go-to-market strategy for ZS
  • Consistently identify, pursue and close new business opportunities through personal network and through working with ZS client teams
  • Raise ZS's marketplace presence/profile through a range of business development activities
  • Lead project teams on marketing operations client engagements
  • Project management and delivery
  • Partner with other ZS capability areas to ensure Digital Marketing Operations is integrated with our other service offerings used by our clients
  • Drive ZS Marketing Operations thought leadership via whitepapers, industry conference presentations, blog posts and other channels


Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required in business or a quantitative field, advanced degree preferred
  • Salesforce and/or Adobe Certifications
  • A proven track record of business development.
  • 10+ years of prior relevant work experience, preferably in professional services/consulting
  • High motivation, outstanding work ethic, maturity and personal initiative
  • Aptitude for, and enjoyment of, leading and managing teams
  • Strong oral and written communication skills that enable personal impact with senior-level decision makers
  • Strong attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset
  • Analytic problem solving skills, with a creative and innovative outlook





ZS is a global consulting firm; fluency in English is required, additional fluency in at least one European or Asian language is desirable.
