Strategy Insights & Planning Consultant/Learning Solutions Architect (Philadelphia, PA)

The HCD team creates impact where it matters through helping clients understand and respond to the complexities of building human capabilities which align to achievement of the organisations goals.

HCD Learning Solution Architect

We seek an effective and experienced Learning Solution Architect (LSA) to join our Philadelphia office. You will lead our clients and client teams to identify and prioritise people capability gaps, ideate high level solutions and develop the initial roadmaps for learning and capability programs.

In collaboration with clients and client teams, you will work with the HCD Manager, Learning Solution Architects (LSAs), Learning Solution Developers (LSDs) and third-party vendors to create and build innovative, high impact learning solutions, synthesizing input from client teams, subject matter experts and the clients themselves to ensure high-quality end delivery which meets and exceeds the client expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Managers and Principals to drive business development and client relationships;
  • Leverage problem solving skills and frameworks to analyse client needs, and to articulate relevant high-level perspectives on potential capability development solutions;
  • Across multiple simultaneous opportunities, work with Client Service Teams, consulting team members and design teams to bring strategic and tactical recommendations to life for clients;
  • Orchestrate the design of learning programs with Learning Solution Architects (LSAs), Learning Solution Developers (LSDs) and third-party vendors;
  • Bring specific knowledge, skills and processes in learning and capability development, and train others on best practices, including:
  • Deep exploration of client need to identify root cause of performance gaps
  • Articulation of identified needs into high-level learning objectives
  • Leading the creation and delivery of compelling and highly-relevant project proposals
  • Orchestrating (internal and external) project team members to understand and participate throughout the project lifecycle
  • Demonstrate thought leadership on new and innovative programs, tactics and customer experiences in the Human Capability Development world, both within and outside pharmaceuticals;
  • Serve as an active leader in the Expertise Centre;
  • Cultivate the HCD expertise of our people.
  • Synthesize and communicate results to clients and ZS teams;
  • Take initiative to advance problem solving skills and ZS's capabilities;
  • Teach, mentor and coach associates to ensure high-quality deliverables. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (master’s or PhD preferred), ideally in organizational learning, human factors, psychology, , information science or a related discipline focused in social science and design communication;
  • At least 7 years of experience in a Learning Design environment;
  • Healthcare experience is preferred (work with patients, physicians and other healthcare providers);
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working in all levels of management in obtaining consensus on project requirements and deliverables;
  • Demonstrable experience of leading and delivering projects encompassing all stages of the learning lifecycle;
  • Deep comprehension of blended-learning and creative-design approaches;
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and work effectively on several projects simultaneously in a matrixed and fast paced environment;
  • Proven capability to balance ideation, conceptual thinking and tactical execution;
  • Robust and diverse portfolio featuring human-centered experience design work that led to positive business outcomes;
  • Ability to travel to client locations (10-25%) to work with teams and provide in-person expertise.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to communicate design direction and best practices in a clear, compelling way;
  • Team oriented, builds strong relationships at every level of the organization and is a dynamic motivator. Can work well in cross-functional teams, including designers, technical teams, product and project managers.
