Senior Learning Advisor/Senior Program Manager

We are seeking a Senior Learning Advisor to join our Learning team in North America focused in either business consulting or pharmaceutical research and development. The Senior Learning Advisor will partner with business leaders, HRBPs and across the Learning team to define the division learning strategy and oversee the training development and implementation lifecycle for the assigned area. The Senior Learning Advisor will be aligned to a specific set of stakeholders.


  • Understand the vision and strategy for ZS inclusive of the HR priorities for culture, performance and talent development;
  • Leads the development of business unit learning and development strategies and program curriculums inclusive of evaluation plans, in line with ZS curriculum, including reassessment of existing programs, analysis of gaps and implementation of new learning programs to ensure high-quality modern learning experiences;
  • Intakes new learning requests and partners with the Learning Design and Learning Delivery teams to scope and determine timelines to deliver;
  • Support SMEs in development and curation of new learning content to ensure modern learning approaches;
  • Partners with business units to over-see the implementation and communication of programs, modules and courses to deliver at scale through support of communication/change plans and facilitation of discussions through multiple channels;
  • Evaluates and communicates the impact of learning interventions and is responsible for end to end learning budget for specific focus area(s);
  • Promote company-wide awareness and usage of learning resources and ensure that stakeholders have access to appropriate learning content;
  • Demonstrate advanced experience managing or designing learning solutions in digital learning;
  • Contributes to learning creation and development;
  • Maintain currency in current learning content, sciences and instructional design principles for effective support of delivery at all times;
  • Contributions developing learning design & development and capabilities in others.


  • Bachelor’s degree required with strong academic performance, Master's Degree in training and development, learning technologies, human resources development, education, organizational psychology, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years’ work experience in a learning consulting and advisory roles including needs analysis, strategic planning and learning design
  • Professional Services, life sciences, paramedical RD, advanced analytics/data sciences, business technology services or contusing experience preferred
  • Demonstrated excellence in leaning program design and learning project management skills, from analysis and strategy through development and implementation;
  • Expert understanding of learning and expertise development theory and methodology;
  • Strong ability to develop partnerships and collaborate across complex organization, including with senior management Experience applying organizational development principles, design thinking and findings from market research to design innovative and impactful learning solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and work with highly sensitive data and information;
  • Strong executive level facilitation and collaboration with stakeholders and colleagues and ensure needed business outcomes.


ZS is a global consulting firm; fluency in English is required, additional fluency in at least one European or Asian language is desirable.
