Senior Human Resources Associate - Learning/Media Developer (Evanston,IL)

Human Resources develops and executes successful recruiting programs, learning and expertise-development initiatives, strategic staffing assignments, effective reporting and analytics, performance management processes, and work-life benefits and operations.


We are seeing an experienced Learning Media Developer that will be responsible for leading, and implementing innovative training programs, resources and experience.. The role will partner with key stakeholders across the business and the Learning team to develop and deliver learning solutions, customize for local needs, and ensure successful program execution.


  • Partner across learning to ensure programs you lead align with the global learning strategy, while providing recommendations to enhance programmatic solutions;
  • Own the visual design for L&D and be available to partner with HR, Operations and others for visual design needs across the organization;
  • Create, prepare, and format templates, documents and training materials in accordance with Learning and Development departmental brand and style guidelines;
  • Develop the department visual standards and ensure departmental brand consistency;
  • Responsible for videography for L&D and partner with HR, Operations, Merchandising and the Executive team for additional video needs;
  • Assist the L&D team in designing instructional modules and reference materials;
  • Review developed material for quality and accuracy;
  • Coordinate multiple projects, including producing high quality work under tight deadlines;
  • Create quality multimedia using photography, videography and graphics to illustrate L&D Standards and assets to be used in training material;
  • Develop and utilize audience metrics to help drive content and style improvements and make recommendations to increase viewership of produced content;
  • Utilize excellent interpersonal and communication skills to evaluate and communicate what's working and what's not with peers and leadership while developing an ongoing plan to improve quality;
  • Basic maintenance & usage of our Learning Management System and LXP;
  • Work with Supervisor and content drivers to design/shape storytelling and improve content quality that will meet audience needs and interests;
  • Work with Executives to increase viewership in video content, and readership in multimedia content.


  • Bachelor’s Degree is required;
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience;
  • Excellent task and project management skills with experience coordinating and implementing training programs;
  • Demonstrated proficiency of learning theory and methodology;
  • Demonstrated proficiency with development tools such as, Adobe Creative Cloud (including Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop), and Articulate 360;
  • Position will require travel throughout the US up to 10%;
  • Ability to proactively and continually collaborate with project team members and distributed; stakeholders to ensure timely, efficient, and accurate deliverables;
  • Confirmed ability to analyze problems and solve them creatively;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and work with highly sensitive data and information;
  • Ability to partner with, stakeholders, colleagues and managers to ensure needed business outcomes.
  • Professional Services knowledge preferred.
