Human Resources Assistant/Learning (Evanston, IL)

Administrative Services provides services to ZS professionals as they complete their work. The administrative services team provides administrative support, travel-planning operations, catering coordination and facilities management.

HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT - LEARNING

We seek an experienced administrative professional in our Evanston, IL office. The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for administrative and coordination support functions for global learning program participants across the firm.
Responsibilities:

  • Increasing learning program execution, coordination and team productivity (coordinating vendors requirements and interactions, editing correspondence, updating program collateral, managing production schedules);

  • Managing program enrollment logistics (travel, session logistics, invitations, enrollment tracking, standard communications and more);

  • Completing administrative processes in support of learning programs (filing, correspondence, data entry, expense reports, preparing purchase orders, ordering supplies);
  • Track program budgeting and efficiency standards;
  • Provide event experience service onsite at global programs hosted by the ZS Learning team for participants (i.e. learners, faculty, vendors, staff) along with the ZS Learning team
  • Hours are 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education or Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree preferred;
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience as an Administrative/Executive Assistant, preferably in a professional services environment;
  • Computer fluency with MSOffice (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook), SAP and Concur desirable;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Professional appearance and demeanor with ability to exercise good judgment and discretion
  • Attention to detail, dependability/punctuality;
  • Proactive self-starter with ability to manage a wide variety of tasks and meet deadlines;
  • Experience working both independently and with a team in a demanding environment;
  • Sense of humor appreciated.

ZS is a global consulting firm; fluency in English is required, additional fluency in at least one European or Asian language is desirable.
