Digital Marketing Lead (Evanston, IL)

DIGITAL MARKETING LEAD

We seek a Digital Marketing Lead to join our team in Evanston, IL. In this role, you will be the US leader responsible for ensuring ZS’s multichannel integrated digital marketing strategy is executed with precision to meet business needs.  The role will require close collaboration with industry marketers, recruitment marketers and the India-based digital marketing team. In addition, you will lead the zs.com website rebuild, ensuring the strategy, design and technology implementation meet business needs and create a best-in-class user experience, working closely with our agency partner. Reporting to the Global Head of Digital Marketing, the ideal person is strategically minded, extremely detail oriented, enjoys working with cross-functional teams collaboratively and is proficient with digital marketing concepts and fundamentals.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage design and technology partners to enable the launch of new website features and ongoing website operations. 
  • Partner with the internal web development team to enhance website effectiveness and user experience, whilst defining and delivering a portfolio of initiatives for the ongoing website design and development projects.
  • Design the consumer’s digital journey for our digital assets to improve customer experience and maximize the opportunity for customer engagement or lead generation by generating insights from competitive and market research. This requires competitive analysis, business process change management, and stakeholder workshop facilitation to specify requirements for introduction of new functionality and collect feature-level digital marketing improvement opportunities.
  • Design, plan, execute and measure ZS’s social media strategy to support integrated digital marketing and recruitment campaigns (organic and paid) on various platforms including LinkedIn, Google, Facebook, and Twitter. Drive awareness and demand while streamlining ad spend and improving media acquisition strategies using data uncovered in regular dashboards and ad hoc reporting.
  • Collaborate with the industry and recruitment marketing teams to understand their business requirements and articulate those into measurable KPIs. Act as a bridge between technical team & other marketing teams for requirements translation.
  • Monitor and communicate project performance including KPI on SLA adherence /dashboard development, A/B testing and ongoing optimizations.
  • Share insights and recommendations with Marcomm leaders to continuously improve the performance of digital campaigns.
  • Project manage and continuously prioritize the needs of business stakeholders in cross-functional global environment. Develop project deliverables, proof-of-concepts, and pilot new technologies.
  • Keep abreast of Digital trends to introduce new tools & evaluation metrics and refine continuous improvement process.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree required, MBA preferred.
  • 5-7+ years of digital marketing and website design/build experience.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing best practices, processes and technologies.
  • Experience managing large, multi-national B2B websites, ideally for a professional services organization.
  • Experience in planning paid digital ad campaigns on social media channels including LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. Must understand behavioral targeting, custom audience acquisition, remarketing and pricing models for these platforms.
  • Generate and gather meaningful insights and become a data story teller for all stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate expertise with Web Analytics Tools, CMS systems and Martech tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics Sitecore, AEM, Marketo, Hubspot etc.
  • Experience conducting web/click stream data analysis/ heat map analysis.
  • Strong and positive developer of people and manager of teams.
  • Relentless customer-focus and obsessive attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of the web technologies like CSS, JavaScript, XML, agile etc.
  • Flexible work schedule to collaborate with team New Delhi-based team in morning hours and willingness to travel to India approximately 2 times per year.
