EMPLOYER BRAND/RECRUITMENT MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS (MARCOMM) LEAD

We seek an experienced and dynamic professional to help build our employer brand and lead marketing and communications for ZS’s global Recruiting team. The person in this role will design, develop and execute integrated marcomm programs and campaigns for the global recruiting function. Based in our Evanston, IL office, this person will help drive global brand recognition and engagement with potential recruits in our target populations. As part of the ZS Marketing & Communications team, and reporting to our People Communications Manager, this proactive, results-driven individual will work closely with HR (primarily the Recruiting team), Business Consulting and Client teams, and other internal clients as required, to generate and refresh content, develop recruitment campaign materials, market special events and develop employer branding strategies across our social media channels and corporate website. This role serves as a strategic marketing partner for ZS’ Recruiting team, driving marketing and communications (marcomm) campaigns and programs that are time-sensitive, content-relevant, and target-centric. This role is designed for a self-starter with deep experience and passion for corporate marketing and communications, social media, content marketing, and employer brand strategy.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, contribute to and manage the execution of an effective, integrated global employer branding/recruitment marcomm program, including a social media communications strategy, featuring compelling content to highlight our people, open roles, life at the firm and career advancement on ZS’s Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram career-focused channels;
  • Develop recruiting marcomm collateral and promotional content such as email copy, brochures, web copy, presentations and videos;
  • Partner with ZS' Editorial/Content team and Visual Communications team to drive the content development process, interview SMEs and manage the review/approval process;
  • Generate original ideas and assist with the development and production of short videos highlighting ZS people, life and programs;
  • Manage a global social media content calendar, working in collaboration with the India-based social media team members and identifying opportunities to streamline and amplify messaging;
  • Seek out creative on-brand stories about the culture of the firm (people profiles, events, activities, volunteer efforts, professional development, etc.), adapting this content as needed for the Life at ZS blog and amplifying via social channels;
  • Identify opportunities to work with senior leaders to strategically enhance their social media presence;
  • Manage feedback and comments on all digital platforms and regularly review social listening reports, flagging and addressing issues as needed;
  • Monitor and share effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of social media campaigns;
  • Regularly analyze, review and report on effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results and make targeted improvements as needed.

 

Requirements:

·        BA or BS in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business or a related field, master’s degree and/or professional certifications desirable;

·        6+ years relevant work experience in a multi-national professional services environment;

·        Experience should include all aspects of the integrated marketing mix – digital marketing/advertising, content marketing, social media, event marketing, email/marketing automation, and PR;

  • Strong work experience creating channel-appropriate content (visual, video and curated) relevant to both new and experienced workforce, and deploying it across various marcomm channels;
  • Proven record in leading corporate social media strategy development and execution, including recruitment-based marcomm that achieves results, including creation of channel-specific strategies, acquisition and growth of social audiences and measurement of results;
  • Experience working with a global team on strategically creating, customizing, posting and amplifying social content across all preferred channels;
  • Dexterity with digital marketing and social media management and analytics platforms;
  • Strong writing, editing and verbal communications skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop collaborative internal stakeholder relationships;
  • Ability to build, manage and influence virtual teams;
  • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously with strong prioritization skills;
  • High-energy communications strategist and practitioner.

 

 

ZS is a global consulting firm; fluency in English is required, additional fluency in at least one European or Asian language is desirable.
