Medical Technology Business Consulting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Manager to join our Chicago office to help lead ZS's Strategy and Marketing practices for the Medical Technology, Diagnostics, and Services sectors.  The Consulting Manager will be responsible for practice development, account development, team development, and project delivery. The Consulting Manager will also be a key leader in the MedTech practice and will help drive firm capabilities, build and develop team members, sell and deliver meaningful levels of projects with clients, and develop thought leadership to evolve ZS’s presence.



  Demonstrate deep life sciences industry and MedTech sector knowledge;

• Demonstrate deep functional expertise in Marketing Strategy including Upstream and Downstream;
• Consistently deliver quality client services and drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget;
• Effectively lead and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds;
• Play an active role in building a team and counseling and mentoring junior team members within ZS;
• Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge;
• Possess in depth business acumen;
• Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business;

Support practice area development activities, such as thought leadership, capability / offering development, etc.


Qualifications: Search

  • MBA from a top university;
  • Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of combined experience in the MedTech industry and in consulting and / or industry;
  • Aptitude to drive revenue across marketing disciplines
  • Characteristics of a forward thinker and self-starter that thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly to learning new knowledge;
  • Ability to lead a virtual team of consulting professionals across multiple projects;
