Business Operations Associate Consultant (Boston, MA)

ZS's Business Operations group helps improve and run our clients’ entire system of business processes and operations, thoughtfully designing solutions focused on operationalizing analytics, implementing cutting-edge automaton technologies, and transforming client business processes. Our teams support both project-based and outsourcing solutions for our clients that go beyond streamlining operations and reducing costs to bring domain focused insights, practical innovations, and superior customer experience.



Business Operations Associate Consultants (BOACs) manage key work streams that support our clients' business processes and operations. BOACs take ownership of operating and optimizing business processes, create deliverables, perform analyses and respond to ad hoc queries from the clients. 


•    Understand client business issues, operating business rules, data, and standard operating procedures
•    Incorporate process changes in response to evolving business needs
•    Operate business processes for clients on a periodic basis. This includes synthesizing data, performing quality checks and creating error free deliverables 
•    Communicate with internal and client teams on periodic status updates, issue resolution and change control
•    Lead analyses on requests from clients relating to deliverables
•    Perform what-if analyses to evaluate business scenarios
•    Mentor, coach and guide associates in the team, often across multiple offices
•    Develop deep expertise and advise client and internal teams



ZS welcomes candidates with bachelor's or master's degrees in any engineering discipline, MIS, operations management or other relevant academic program, plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. A demonstrated record of academic success is required.

ZS is a global consulting firm; fluency in English is required, additional fluency in at least one European or Asian language is desirable.
